Service Description

Who: Anyone wanting obedience training with their dog but is not ready or wanting to join the Heart Set Free E-collar Program. What: We will be learning 3 foundation skills- “come”, “place”, and “leave it” and have access to ask any questions and receive customizable responses through our Marco Polo Video App throughout the 4 weeks of training. Where: Rock Kennel Training in Shabbona (11822 Gast Rd Shabbona, IL 60550 When: Tuesday June 18th, June 25th, July 3rd, July 9th 6:30-7:30pm Why: We want to give you the skills needed to strengthen your dog’s impulse control so they can listen on the first time, even when distracted. What to Bring? Treats- Soft Small and Stinky Treat pouch (optional but highly recommended) Leash (preferably at least 5 feet long and no retractable or bungee leashes) Tightly fitted collar (no harnesses, if you are worried about the dog escaping we recommend martingale collars.) Prerequisites for Class Make sure your dog is NOT reactive to other dogs. If they are, we recommend our e-collar program. If you are not sure, please contact us so we can help you determine if this camp is right for you! Price Good Option 4 week Foundation Camp - $199 Better (most common) 4 weeks of doggie daycare + Foundations Camp = $399 Previous Foundation camp attendees have loved the option of dropping their dog off for doggie daycare in the morning and picking their dog up moments before class starts so they have a tired, happy, and hungry pup ready to learn.
